Nicola Maye Goldberg was born in New York City. She is a dual citizen of the United States and South Africa. She currently studies Written Arts at Bard College, with a concentration in Gender Studies. Her work has appeared in Hanging Loose, the Palo Alto Weekly, Sadie Magazine, and elsewhere. She is particularly fond of David Lynch, nineteenth century adultery tragedies, Lepidoptera, tarot cards, feminist literary theory, porcelain dolls, and whales.
